Power Platform builds
Your organisation already pays for Microsoft 365. We turn that licence into the business systems your teams use daily — built on the platform you already own and govern.
South African software engineering
VioletTech Solutions designs, builds and supports business software for South African organisations — leave and HR systems, approval workflows, vendor and registration portals, and the reporting that sits on top of them. Built on Microsoft Power Platform and .NET, delivered end to end, and handed over documented.
Smart solutions. Stronger tomorrows.
Sectors we work in
What we do
Most engagements start the same way: a process running on email threads and Excel files that nobody fully owns. We map it, build it properly, and hand it over documented — so it keeps working after we leave.
Your organisation already pays for Microsoft 365. We turn that licence into the business systems your teams use daily — built on the platform you already own and govern.
When requirements outgrow what a platform allows, we build software to them exactly — in C# on ASP.NET and SQL Server, with the source code delivered to you outright.
Approvals that move themselves, data that only gets captured once, and notifications that reach the right person. No more chasing sign-off by email.
Nobody left who understands the system your business depends on? We document it, stabilise it and make it safe to change again — before it fails.
Know what it will cost, what it will do and how it will be licensed before you commit budget — including when the honest answer is not to build it at all.
Automated regression suites so your team can release changes without breaking the parts that already worked.
How we engage
Before anything is built, we sit with the people who run the process today and document how it actually works — including the workarounds nobody put in the procedure manual. That session is where most of the cost of a project is decided.
What comes out of it is a written design: the data model, the security roles, the licensing implications and the integration points, agreed before development starts. You approve it, and it becomes the thing we are held to.
Our solutions
International HR platforms treat South African labour law as an afterthought. We build the opposite: systems where BCEA rules, public holidays and POPIA obligations are the foundation, not a configuration screen.
BCEA-compliant leave engine covering accrual, public holidays, working-day calculations and a full approval chain with delegation. Every decision written to an audit log.
One place for new joiners to complete onboarding: applications, document uploads, policy acknowledgements and an onboarding calendar, tracked per employee record.
The stack
Power Platform where it is the right answer and C# on ASP.NET where it is not — over SQL Server and Dataverse, with Power BI on top. We write the code, so we can tell you which of those your problem actually needs.

Delivery
Every engagement follows the same sequence, because skipping the first stage is what makes projects overrun.
Stage 01
We sit with the people who run the process today and document how it actually works, including the workarounds.
Stage 02
Data model, security roles, licensing and integration points agreed in writing before development starts.
Stage 03
Built in short cycles with a working version you can click through at the end of each one. No six-week silences.
Stage 04
Deployed to production with documentation, admin training, and an ongoing support arrangement so it keeps working.
A free 30-minute call. Bring the spreadsheet, manual process or ageing system that costs your team the most time. You'll get an honest answer on whether it is worth building, roughly what it would take, and what it would cost — before you commit anything.
